Blogtober: Favorite Reading Snacks

Posted 10/07/2019 by Charli in Miscellaneous / 4 Comments

I generally don’t like to eat while I’m reading. Mostly because most snacks leave crumbs, salt, sugar, smears of chocolate or caramel, or other things I *don’t* want on my book pages. But as of late, there is one thing I can’t seem to stop having when I’m reading, especially late at night.

And that something is Hot Chocolate. Nothing as fancy as in the photo above that I grabbed from rawpixel on Pixabay, but hot chocolate is my current favorite nonetheless. Other things I like to have on hand when I read include herbal teas, water, and soda. Like I said, I’m not a big snacker when I’m actually reading. Although I might snag an Oreo or two while I’m reading. They don’t leave *too much* of a mess on my book pages. LOL

Is there anything special you like to have to eat or drink when you’re reading? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Fully agree with this!! I’m not much of a snacker but I love a hot drink while I’m reading, it’s super cosy. For me, a cup of tea is perfect, but now I kind of want a hot chocolate too…

  2. There isn’t anything particular that I like to eat or drink while reading, but there is something hugely satisfying about laying on the sofa with a blanket, a book, and a nice cold beer in the evening!
