All Hallows’ Read Challenge TBR

I know, I know, I posted a TBR already but then I found the All Hallows’ Read Challenge. So now I’ve got even MORE to read but I’m cool with that! 😀 So without further adieu, here we go…

I chose the “This Is Halloween” tier (hello, I’m a Nightmare Before Christmas freak, what did you expect):

do the monster mash- complete!

For this prompt, you read an anthology. I just picked up Slasher Girls & Monster Boys at the library (I own it, but it’s hiding from me at the moment).

halloween town – complete!

This one is to read a book set in a magical place. If you’ve started (or finished) Serpent & Dove, you know it’s set in a magical place. Or at least I’d call it a magical place if witches are running around trying to reclaim the land!

pumpkin picking – complete!

For this one, you read a book that’s been on your TBR for a long time. I’ve had this book on my TBR for years – literally since it came out. So yeah… this one I’m doubling up on.

trick or treat – complete!

Have someone else pick a book for you. So I asked my best friend to pick a book for me. She picked Hocus Pocus and the All-New Sequel.

black flame candle – complete!

Since the tier comes with a directive to choose ONE prompt of your choice from the other tiers, I chose black flame candle from the witches tier. Hocus Pocus definitely has antagonistic witches. Or at least that’s what I’d call the Sanderson Sisters!

So there you have it – my TBR for All Hallows’ Read! Are you doing All Hallows’ Read? If you are, what’s in your TBR?

  1. Serpent and Dove was a fantastic witchy read. I hope you end up loving it too. Happy reading!
